We have taken counter measurement to mitigate environmental risk.

1. To lift up chimney.
According to Circular 27/2011/TT-BTNMT, the height of chimney shall “not be less than 20m above the ground level”. We lifted 3 chimney more than 3.5m to reach 22.5 m.
2. To control sawdust.
We produce Sawdust from Logs by chipping and all process are done inside of buildings. In the case, we outsource Sawdust from suppliers, we keep Sawdust outdoor. Currently we cover this Sawdust with canvas to prevent sawdust flying away and we keep sweeping dusts on the ground in our factory.
3. To build up a green area.
To be green factory, we plant tree, flower around factory.

4. To discuss with stakeholders.
BMFV visits each stakeholder and report latest information at least once a year. The Opinion Box is set up at gate so that everyone in the communities can post opinion immediately.
5. To improve internal system.
Beside field action, BMFV also improved daily internal operations and its system in order to meet international standard. We are certified to ISO 9001:2015 on quality managements system and ISO 14001:2015 on environmental management system since December 2020.
